Intertek Group, PLC to enhance its analytical
testing capabilities in China through the use
of Intertek’s testing services and laboratory in
Shanghai. At the same time, it has strengthened
its technical team in China, with senior staff
from other technology centers to support other
activities, such as conducting field-testing
programs for automotive and industrial products.
“The addition of the Shanghai testing facility
is part of a longer term strategy for China that
supplements Chevron Oronite’s other technical
support and research network around the world,
including our technology center in Japan, which
has a full range of laboratory and engine test
facilities,” said Xiao.
The facility in China will “immediately
enhance the turnaround time and service to
customers,” Waite added.
