I would like to welcome The R.W. Walker Company to the F&L Asia team,
a trusted and highly experienced sales representation company, led by Mike Walker,
whose grandfather started the company 77 years ago in Los Angeles, Calif., U.S.A.
The new partners will handle advertising, conference sponsorship and exhibition
sales for F&L Asia starting in the third quarter.
Mike’s team will be leading our sales effort to cover bigger ground, as our industry
becomes even more global. The international market is no longer just the purview of
large, multinational companies. This is illustrated in Newsbites on pages 6 and 8, where
you will read about lube manufacturers expanding outside of their domestic markets,
such as Malaysia’s Hyrax in Mozambique or India’s Gulf Oil in the United Arab Emirates
and Argentina or Bulgaria’s Prista Oil in Hungary. We like to think that we help make the
market grow by bringing information within easy reach of key decision makers through
our publications and conferences. Next year, we’ll celebrate 20 years of helping the
industry grow!
