Call for Papers! NLGI 80th Annual Meeting

2 October 2012 – Technical, manufacturing and marketing papers are sought for presentation at the NLGI 80th Annual Meeting, to be held in Tucson, Ariz., June 15-18,2013. Technical papers may cover any aspect of grease chemistry, grease formulation or grease manufacturing technology.

Experts are invited to share their knowledge on any aspect of grease technology at this once-a-year event, the leading global forum for grease technology. Papers accepted for presentation also are eligible to be published in the prestigious journal, The NLGI Spokesman, upon completion of editorial and peer review.

Suggested topics include but are not limited to:

  • Grease manufacturing technologies
  • Grease thickener systems
  • Toxicology of grease products and/or components
  • Safe handling and storage
  • Packaging design and efficiency
  • Industrial applications
  • Automotive greases
  • Global regulations (GHS, REACH, etc.)
  • Sustainability of grease manufacturing
  • Grease marketing trends
  • Base oils and additives in grease
  • Test methods and standards
  • Issues affecting grease production and/or application
