Univar Solutions expands partnership with Climax Molybdenum

Univar Solutions and Climax Molybdenum Company have deepened their collaboration with an expanded agreement for the distribution of molybdenum products in the Americas. This move solidifies Univar Solutions’ position as the primary distributor for non contract Molysulfide® customers in the region.

Established as global leaders in their respective domains, both companies have a history of providing top-tier products and services. Univar Solutions, a global solutions provider of specialty ingredients and chemicals, has been at the forefront of delivering innovative solutions to various industries. On the other hand, Climax Molybdenum Company, recognised as the world’s largest producer of molybdenum and molybdenum-based chemicals, has been instrumental in serving industries ranging from steel and oil to automotive and aerospace.

The expansion into the Latin American market is a testament to the trust and synergy between the two companies. The partnership aims to leverage the strengths of both entities to ensure a reliable supply of Molysulfide® to customers. Molysulfide®, a lubricant grade molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), is known for its application in greases and coatings.
