United Motors launches Valvoline 4TECH Ultimate fully synthetic motor oil in Sri Lanka

United Motors Lanka PLC, the sole distributor for Valvoline Lubricants in Sri Lanka, recently launched Sri Lanka’s first dedicated lubricant for high performance bikes. The product range under the Valvoline 4TECH Ultimate brand will be available at selected dealers island-wide and at the Valvoline Showroom in Hyde Park Corner.

“Sri Lanka has a large population of Indian bikes. Valvoline has been a trusted brand for two-wheeler lubricants, over the years due to the performance and quality of the oils. In the last few years we have seen an increase of high-end bikes in Sri Lanka which are more than 200cc and even going up to 400cc. The owners of these bikes spend a lot of time, effort and money on their bikes due to its higher maintenance requirements. 4TECH is therefore ideal for these bikes,” said United Motors Lanka General Manager for Car Care and Lubricants, Priyantha Ellepola.

Valvoline 4TECH Ultimate, a full-synthetic motor oil, meets both API SN and JASO MA2 specifications. According to the Valvoline website, Valvoline 4TECH Ultimate offers the following advantages:

• Superior engine protection and performance without compromise on clutch performance.
• Excellent clutch friction characteristic leads to smooth and quick clutch engagement and ride comfort.
• Excellent oxidation resistance results in less deposits and hence extended engine oil drain and component life.

Bikes can travel 5,000-6,000km effortlessly with the use of Valvoline 4TECH Ultimate, according to United Motors Lanka, and although the motor oil is preferably used for 200cc and above engines, it can also be used for 50cc engines.
