Tata Motors launches genuine oils for commercial vehicles
Tata Motors on Monday launched Tata Motors Genuine Oil exclusively for Tata Motors commercial vehicles range in the Indian market.
According to Tata Motors, its range of high-quality multi-purpose oils are suitable for new generation engines manufactured by Tata and include engine oils, gear oils and rear axle oils for commercial vehicles manufactured by Tata Motors for both on-road and off-road applications.
Tata Motors Genuine Oils come in four variants:
- Tata Motors Genuine engine oil API CI4 (SAE 15W-40) and API CH4 (SAE 15W40) – Priced at INR 185 (USD 2.91) per liter, this is a range of multi-purpose diesel engine oils for new generation engines with long drain intervals and is suitable for mixed fleet operations.
- Tata Motors Genuine gear oil 80W90 LL – Priced at INR 210 (USD 3.31) per liter, this has been especially formulated for new generation synchromesh transmission performing under rugged terrains with extended oil intervals.
- Tata Motors Genuine rear axle oil 80W140 LL – Priced at INR 240 (USD 3.78) per liter, this is a heavy-duty multi-grade oil specially formulated with extended oil drain intervals for axles performing under tough circumstances with higher operating temperatures.
This new range of genuine oils was developed according to regulations and the requirements of the Indian commercial vehicle market. Tata Motors Genuine Oils are exclusively available across 1,400 Tata Motors CVBU-authorized workshops.
