SI Group to relocate HQ in Schenectady, New York
SI Group, a leading developer and manufacturer of performance additives, process solutions, pharmaceuticals and chemical intermediates, announced that it has selected the Golub Corporation building headquarters in Schenectady, New York, for its global headquarters location.
SI Group will occupy a floor in this LEED Gold certified facility, which offers a full-serve cafeteria, large fitness center, advanced IT infrastructure and security, direct access to walking and bike paths, and close proximity to restaurants and businesses. The new facility will also provide a pleasant experience for customers while illustrating the company’s culture and values.

The 240,000 square foot building has six floors, each with 40,000 square feet. The sustainable building built at a former brownfield site is owned and managed by the Galesi Group, also headquartered in Schenectady, NY.
The move is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2020. The company’s research and development labs will move to a separate location. That decision is in its final stages.
CBRE-Albany is handling the sale of the current SI Group property.
