SI Group introduces ETHANOX® 1315 lubricant antioxidant 

SI Group, a leading global developer and manufacturer of performance additives, process solutions, pharmaceuticals, and chemical intermediates based in Schenectady, New York, U.S.A., announced the launch of ETHANOX® 1315 lubricant antioxidant. The new antioxidant provides lower overall volatility under higher temperature conditions which extends the effective usage range of the lubricant application.

According to SI Group, ETHANOX® 1315 lubricant antioxidant is an effective solution that exceeds the needs of today’s lubricant additives industry. The strain on modern lubricants to resist degradation has increased as engines have become more efficient.

ETHANOX® 1315 antioxidant provides excellent performance in standalone applications and has shown to be synergistic with other SI Group antioxidants in a variety of industrial and engine oil applications while remaining solubility.
