Sherri Evers joins ExxonMobil as North America Lubes GM
Imperial Canada has announced that Sherri Evers, its senior vice president of Sustainability, Commercial Development, and Product Solutions, will assume the role of North America lubes general manager at ExxonMobil Corporation. The new appointment will be effective from 1 March 2025.
Evers has been an integral part of Imperial for more than two decades, beginning her journey with the company in 1998. She has since held various roles in downstream business operations and undertaken global assignments with ExxonMobil in product optimisation, planning, and supply network management. In her current role at Imperial, Evers has led pivotal initiatives, including the Strathcona renewable diesel project and the establishment of the Low Carbon Solutions business.
Brad Corson, chairman, president, and CEO of Imperial, praised Evers’ leadership and contributions. “Sherri successfully led a diverse portfolio contributing to Imperial’s business and strategic projects, including the Strathcona renewable diesel project in the Downstream and development of our new Low Carbon Solutions business. In addition, her leadership was critical in plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions at our operations, and she was instrumental in the formation of the Pathways Alliance to reduce emissions from oil sands operations and has been an active participant on the steering committee.”
Evers will leave a legacy of strong leadership and forward-thinking innovation at Imperial. A successor for her role will be announced at a later date.
