SEQENS introduces eco-friendly additives for lubricants
SEQENS has unveiled its latest range of extreme pressure additives, SULFAD® 1526 E®, SULFAD® 1528 E®, and SULFAD® 1529 E®, specifically designed to meet the demands of modern lubrication systems. These sulfurised esters are optimised for compatibility with a broad spectrum of base oils, including Group I to V, making them suitable for environmentally acceptable lubricants (EALs).
The SULFAD range offers exceptional chemical compatibility and high performance under extreme conditions. Designed for neat and soluble metalworking fluids, as well as industrial greases, these additives form a physical barrier on metal surfaces, preventing wear and metal-to-metal contact even under heavy loads. Their sulfur content ranges from 10% to 34%, providing both active and inactive options for customised formulations.
SEQENS emphasises the eco-friendly attributes of the new additives, which are biosourced and biodegradable. This positions the SULFAD range as a possible solution for industries prioritising sustainability.
