SEQENS expands extreme pressure additive range

SEQENS, a world leader in pharmaceutical solutions and specialty ingredients based in Paris, France, announced that it has expanded its extreme pressure (EP) additives range with a new sulfurized ester, ROSCAN® 1110.

SEQENS extreme pressure additives are sulfurized molecules that provide resistance to high loads with good anti-wear properties. They react with metal surfaces under heavy loads and form a physical  barrier that persists under extreme conditions, preventing metal-to-metal contact. The percentage of sulfur in the EP additive varies  from 10% to 34%, active or inactive.

ROSCAN® 1110, an extreme pressure additive recommended for metalworking applications, industrial lubricants  and greases, allows lubricant suppliers to safely formulate  their products and ensure their distribution worldwide.

ROSCAN® 1110 is an 11% sulfur content light colored sulfurized, non-copper corrosive mixture of highly refined natural  fatty acid esters and hydrocarbons soluble in mineral and synthetic base stocks.

The product is suited especially for non-ferrous and aluminium alloy metalworking formulations.

Because of its widespread availability, the product is a versatile additive suitable for various formulations worldwide.
