Sea-Land Chemical Company, a specialty chemical distributor that specializes in additives for lubricants, household, industrial and institutional cleaning markets based in Westlake, Ohio, U.S.A., announced the appointment of Ryan Keating as chief financial officer, effective immediately.

Keating served as chief financial officer of State Industrial Products since 2015, where he has led all financial activities and served as the leader for all corporate officers for the multinational manufacturer and distributor of maintenance and cleaning products. Prior to joining State Industrial Products, Keating served as the CFO of Matrix Automation, an industrial software solutions provider.

“Keating’s experience as a CFO and creating cross-functional partnerships along with his familiarity with the chemical markets make him a great fit for our company,” said Jennifer Altstadt, Sea-Land president. “We are excited that he has joined our team as we continue to strengthen our organization to service the chemical industry.”

Keating received an Executive MBA from Baldwin Wallace University and a BBA in Finance from Kent State University.
