S-OIL unveils high-efficiency e-cooling solution for electronics

S-OIL has introduced a high-performance cooling solution, the “S-OIL e-Cooling Solution,” designed specifically to cater to the needs of advanced electronics, including data centres, electric vehicle batteries, and other high-heat systems. The new solution was developed to meet growing demand for cooling technologies capable of withstanding temperatures exceeding 250°C, providing enhanced energy efficiency and safety.

The S-OIL e-Cooling Solution employs a sophisticated formula to deliver high thermal conductivity and stability. It is particularly suited to the needs of data centres, where maintaining optimal temperatures is critical for system reliability and efficiency. The product is also suitable for use in electric vehicles and 5G telecommunications equipment, where extreme heat dissipation is crucial.

This innovative product represents a step forward for S-OIL as it collaborates with industry leaders, such as Valvoline Global Operations, to expand its offerings and solidify its position in the global cooling solutions market. Valvoline Global is owned by Saudi Aramco, which acquired Valvoline’s global products business—including lubricants, coolants, and other automotive chemicals—in August 2022 for USD2.65 billion, while  Saudi Aramco holds a significant majority stake in S-Oil through its subsidiary, Aramco Overseas Company B.V.

S-OIL’s e-Cooling Solution has already undergone rigorous testing, demonstrating its effectiveness across a range of applications and earning positive feedback from early adopters.

An S-OIL representative noted, “The S-OIL e-Cooling Solution is the ideal choice for companies that require reliable and efficient cooling in high-temperature environments. We plan to continue expanding our partnerships globally, further developing our product range to address the needs of the rapidly evolving electronics and electric vehicle sectors.”
