RelaDyne acquires Dutch Lubricants
RelaDyne, one of the leading providers of lubricants, fuel, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) in the United States, has acquired Dutch Lubricants, a commercial and industrial lubricant distributor with locations in the U.S. states of Mississippi and Alabama. This acquisition extends RelaDyne’s geographical footprint and strengthens its existing reach in the Gulf Coast Region.
Dutch Lubricants, established in 1972, is headquartered in Columbus, Mississippi, with distribution centers in Jackson, Tupelo, and Columbus, Mississippi, and Birmingham, Alabama. Dutch Lubricants specializes in providing industrial and commercial lubricants as well as a common carrier distribution, serving customers across Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
“We are thrilled to have our Dutch Lubricant employees join the RelaDyne team,” said Rex Gillis, president of Dutch Group Management. “RelaDyne was the perfect fit for us as we looked to divest our lubricants business and focus on our other core businesses. I look forward to the opportunities that RelaDyne brings to our great employees and loyal customers.”
“We are excited to bring the entire RelaDyne portfolio of products, tools, and Reliability Services to the Dutch customers,” said Larry Stoddard, RelaDyne president and CEO. “With RelaDyne’s size and scope of offerings, our new Dutch associates can experience a great deal of new opportunities in their career paths, something RelaDyne strives to provide for our new associates.”
RelaDyne said it continues to be the “acquirer of choice” in the lubricants, fuel, and reliability segments.
“The acquisition of Dutch Lubricants is RelaDyne’s second announced acquisition of 2019 and the first in the state of Mississippi,” said RelaDyne CSO, Jeff Hart. “RelaDyne continues to make significant investments in best in class acquisitions as we continue to create a national distribution platform.”
RelaDyne, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, was formed in 2010 by the combination of four well-established industry-leading companies and has since grown to more than 60 locations by strategically acquiring other industry leaders in the lubricant, fuel distribution, and industrial service segments.
