RecondOil technology debuts in UAE with EPPCO-SKF deal
EPPCO Lubricants, a collaboration between ENOC and Chevron, has signed a significant agreement with SKF, the Swedish giant in bearing and seal manufacturing, to bring SKF’s RecondOil technology to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This innovative technology utilises a double separation system to clean oil by removing harmful nano-particles, thereby enhancing the longevity of lubricants and promoting a circular economy.
SKF’s RecondOil technology is designed to prevent oil from aging prematurely, ensuring optimal performance of mechanical components and reducing environmental impact. As the exclusive distributor in the UAE, EPPCO Lubricants will offer this cutting-edge filtration solution, which has been tested for more than two years to confirm its benefits in system longevity and carbon emission reduction.
The partnership was formalised in Dubai by Rashid Al Ameeri, general manager of EPPCO Lubricants, and Nihad Dzinalija, regional manager, Middle East EMEA of SKF Eurotrade. The signing event was attended by top executives and employees from both companies.
His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC and chairman of EPPCO Lubricants, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration.
“Our latest partnership with SKF will offer our growing base of customers access to a revolutionary lubricant filtration technology that is sustainable and will prevent the oil from aging, ensuring optimal performance. We are confident that this strategic partnership will fulfil the current market requirement providing customers with reliable oil solutions,” said Al Falasi.
Sandro Chervatin, director of Sales, Italy, Iberic, Turkey & ME, SKF, said: “RecondOil is a proven innovative technology, a patented double-separation nanoparticle technology for oil filtration that re-uses used oil and reduces environmental impact. This cutting-edge technology involves a comprehensive understanding of the lubricant industry, precise matching of oil with the filter, and an ongoing oil analysis program to monitor filtration performance.”
EPPCO Lubricants serves a wide range of industries in the UAE, from automotive to marine, distributing top-quality ENOC and Caltex-branded products. SKF, founded in 1907 and headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden, continues to be a global leader in its field, operating in more than 130 countries with a broad network of manufacturing and distribution facilities.
