PTT PLC signs lubricant distribution agreement with Bridgestone A.C.T.

Thailand’s PTT PLC has signed a memorandum of understanding with Bridgestone A.C.T. (Thailand) Company Limited to distribute PTT lubricants at A.C.T. service centers nationwide. Auttapol Rerkpiboon, PTT PLC’s chief operating officer for the Downstream Petroleum Business Group, presided over the signing ceremony last week. The signing was done at PTT headquarters in Bangkok.

Also present during the signing ceremony was Buranin Rattanasombat, executive vice president of PTT PLC ‘s lubricant business, Tanawat Kittiratanaporn, managing director of Bridgestone A.C.T. (Thailand) Company Limited, and Takashi Yamazaki, director-business planning of Bridgestone A.C.T. (Thailand) Company Limited.

Auttapol said that PTT, which is the leading Thai energy company, remains the number #1 choice of Thai customers. By distributing PTT lubricants at A.C.T service centers nationwide, “this will fortify our lubricant business in the market,” he said.

Buranin added that the collaboration with Bridgestone A.C.T. will result in strategic alliances for the two parties in both public relations and marketing activities. PTT also helps to share its knowledge and expertise in lubricants with A.C.T staff.

Bridgestone A.C.T.’s Tanawat said that the business collaboration between Bridgestone A.C.T and PTT will help expand A.C.T.’s product line in all categories. A.C.T. has 78 full-service auto care centers nationwide. Apart from distributing leading tire brands such as Bridgestone and Firestone, the company also sells leading top lubricant brands at its service centers.
