Petro-Canada gets more approvals from Allison Transmission
HollyFrontier Lubricants & Specialties announced that Petro-Canada Lubricants DuraDriveTM HD Synthetic 668 has received approval for Allison Transmission’s H40/50 EPTM and eGen FlexTM, alongside the 1000-4000 Series.
Allison Transmission is a leading designer and manufacturer of conventional and electrified vehicle propulsion solutions, and the largest global manufacturer of medium- and heavy-duty fully automatic transmissions for commercial and defense vehicles. Allison Transmission’s proven H40/50 EP electric hybrid transmission and latest eGen Flex electric hybrid system reduce carbon emissions and provide improved fuel economy of up to 25% for electrified bus fleets.
Incorporating innovative lubricant technology, DuraDrive HD Synthetic 668 now meets the specification for Allison Transmission’s H40/50 EP and eGen Flex, in addition to the TES 668TM specification. The lubricant’s advanced formulation delivers enhanced durability, performance and protection for electric hybrid transit and intercity bus fleets, according to Petro-Canada parent HollyFrontier Lubricants & Specialties.
