Perstorp taps Valentina Serra Holm as VP of Engineered Fluids

Perstorp has appointed Valentina Serra Holm as vice president of Engineered Fluids, where she will strengthen the Swedish specialty company’s focus on key market segments with her experience and expertise from the lubricants industry.

“Adding Valentina to the Strategic Markets & Innovation team further demonstrates Perstorp’s commitment to being a global sustainable solutions provider within the Engineered Fluids segment,” said Patrice Pinsard, EVP, Strategic Markets and Innovation. “Perstorp has a strategy of investing for growth to offer a broader portfolio of specialty products and solutions, and Valentina is going to help us meet our objectives. She has great experience in the lubricants market, and I am convinced she will contribute to future value creation in a very successful way.”

Serra Holm has been active in the lubricants industry for more than 20 years, in areas spanning research & development, market development, sales, and strategic marketing. Previous appointments include several senior global leadership positions at companies such as Nynäs AB, Calumet Specialty Products Partners, and Koras AG.  Since 2016 she has also served as president of UEIL, the Union of the European Lubricants Industry.

In early March, Perstorp Holding AB announced the addition of isononanoic acid to its Engineered Fluids and Resins & Coatings portfolio. Production will start this month at the Perstorp site in Stenungsund, Sweden. Isononanoic acid will be available globally through Perstorp direct sales.
