Nynas EVO line cuts carbon footprint by 25% with no reformulation

Nynas has unveiled its new EVO line, which promises customers an immediate reduction in their carbon footprint without compromising performance. The specialty products, designed as drop-in replacements, require no reformulation, allowing users to maintain their high-quality standards while making a positive environmental impact.

For more than two decades, Nynas has focused on refining both its products and production processes to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The EVO line, which covers all Nynas specialty segments, including power transformers, lubricants, tires, and adhesives, boasts a 25% lower carbon footprint. This significant reduction, verified by external audits, comes without any sacrifice to the quality or reliability that Nynas products are known for.

The EVO line will make its debut at the FEICA 2024 European Adhesive & Sealant Conference and EXPO, to be held from September 11-13 in the Netherlands. At the event, Nynas technical experts will elaborate on how this new product line can deliver the same performance with a smaller environmental impact—all without the need for reformulation or reapproval.

The introduction of the EVO line aligns with Nynas’ mission to aid in the transition to a more sustainable society. The company’s products already contribute to energy savings and greenhouse gas reduction in various applications, and the expansion of circular products further emphasises this commitment.

As part of their ongoing efforts, Nynas is also exploring new circular feedstocks to expand their product range and provide sustainable solutions across industries.
