NYCO to supply Airbus with turbine oils and greases
French lubricant company NYCO has been selected by Airbus, a European multinational aerospace corporation, to provide multiple lubricants including turbine oils and greases, from its Aeronautics & Defence product range. NYCO products are now available to all Airbus worldwide sites (Airbus Commercial, Airbus Helicopters and Airbus Defence and Space) to support Airbus needs.
Vertically integrated, NYCO develops, manufactures, and commercializes its lubricants such as its Turbonycoil® 600 turbine oil or its multi-purpose Nyco Grease® GN 148 which are used worldwide both on Aeronautics and Defence markets.

This agreement allows airlines and operators to receive their brand-new aircraft with NYCO products filled at Airbus Final Assembly Lines. Approved against demanding specifications, including SAE AS5780 SPC Class and MIL-PRF-23699 G STD Class, Turbonycoil® 600 is qualified by all major engine manufacturers, such as General Electric, Pratt & Whitney, Pratt & Whitney Canada, Honeywell, Rolls-Royce, Safran Aircraft Engines, Safran Helicopter Engines, CFMI, etc. It has logged more than 35 years of experience in jet engines of military and commercial aircraft.
Approved against AIMS 09-06-002, BMS 3-33, MIL-PRF-23827 C and SAEAMS-3052, Nyco Grease® GN 148 multi-purpose grease has ideal properties for use on airframe, helicopter systems and landing gear. Fortified with high performance additives and thickeners, it has excellent protection against wear and corrosion, longer durability, and high lubrication capability under extreme loads, according to NYCO. More than 90% of the 425 lubrication maintenance tasks on an A320 can be performed with this sole product, it added.
