The Leading Construction, Energy and Engineering Mega Event Set to Launch 13-16 September 2017

JAKARTA, Indonesia, Sept. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- With the nation's upstream oil and gas industry experiencing some recent challenges, the government has been working on approaches to sustain on the industry attractiveness to investors. Through the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry, it has outlined 5 policies. Among these policies is its establishment of Government Regulation No. 27/2017 on gross splits and participating interest rates.

This new government breakthrough has been well-received by the Oil and Gas Supporting Industry (INPEMIGAS) association. "As an association that focuses on the supporting sector for the downstream oil and gas industry, we are always monitoring and observing the situation when it comes to gross-split policies for the oil and gas industries, and we always keep in mind the pros and cons of these aforementioned policies," said Bambang Purwohadi, Chairman of INPEMIGAS.

"To be honest, we are currently in a wait-and-see state of mind. Investment in oil and gas is a long-term type of investment. Due to time-consuming factors such as exploration, production and processing, investors can only enjoy new revenue 15 years after making their investment," Bambang added.

PT Pamerindo Indonesia is supportive of the government efforts to boost developments in the oil and gas industry. It is doing its part in facilitating the government through the organizing of an upcoming mega event series designed to allow oil and gas industry stakeholders meet up, exchange the latest in information, and create a positive impact for the industry.

The mega event series will comprised of 5 major trade fairs on energy, construction and engineering, all hosted by Pamerindo Indonesia and UBM Pameran Niaga Indonesia all taking place simultaneously in one venue from 13 -16 September 2017, at the Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran in Jakarta. These five trade events are: Mining Indonesia, Construction Indonesia, Concrete Show South East Asia, Oil and Gas Indonesia, and Marintec Indonesia.

With a significant number of trade visitors expected to attend these trade fairs, the entire showcase will provide a wealth information for all involved industries. Indeed, it will serve as a platform to converge industry decision-makers and address on the needs of the mining, construction, infrastructure, and oil and gas industries.

More than 45,000 trade visitors can meet with international manufacturers and distributors from 40 countries and regions, all bringing with them the latest in products and technologies. These five major trade shows will be the place where global experts can share the best in information, innovations and experiences throughout the four days of the entire exhibition.

"Pamerindo Indonesia and UBM Pameran Niaga Indonesia will provide the platform for these 5 trade shows. These component events will synergize with one another in ways that allow visitors to meet with their respective industries in one large gathering of a mega event. It's very efficient this way, and it allows relevant industries to make the most of things," said Maysia Stephanie, Project Director of Pamerindo Indonesia.
