Nawaloka Petroleum to expand nationwide

Nawaloka Petroleum Ltd., which started operations in early 2011 mainly in the western province and selected cities in Sri Lanka, is expanding to other parts of the country and will launch products in the northern and eastern part of the country in the second quarter of 2015.

Nawaloka Petroleum Ltd., a company that was established under the umbrella of Nawaloka Holdings to engage in the business of petroleum and related products, is the sole importer/distributor of Total Oil India Ltd., a subsidiary of Total, France.

Total entered Sri Lanka in 2008, when Sri Lanka liberalized the lubricants market. Total is the world’s fourth-largest publicly traded integrated oil and gas company, with operations in more than 130 countries worldwide, spanning all the aspects of the petroleum industry.
