Motul NGEN engine oil launches across Asia Pacific
Motul has launched its new sustainable engine oil range, NGEN, across the Asia Pacific region. This innovative product line combines cutting-edge technology with environmental responsibility, delivering exceptional engine protection while significantly reducing CO₂ emissions and reliance on virgin base oils.
Motul is a French company specialising in high-performance lubricants, oils, and industrial fluids for the automotive, motorcycle, marine, heavy-duty, and industrial sectors.
The NGEN series, which includes NGEN 5 and NGEN 7, is designed for both motorcycles and hybrid cars. By using up to 75% re-refined base oils, these lubricants provide top-tier performance while minimising environmental impact. The packaging is also made from 50% recycled and recyclable plastic, reinforcing Motul’s commitment to sustainability.
“With the launch of NGEN in Asia Pacific, Motul is setting a new industry benchmark where high performance and sustainability go hand in hand,” said Carlo Savoca, chief marketing officer of Motul Asia Pacific. “As demand for eco-friendly solutions grows, Motul is redefining how motor oils are produced, prioritising long-term environmental impact while delivering the exceptional experience Motul is renowned for.”
The NGEN 5 is optimised for everyday commuting, offering smooth performance and fuel efficiency, while the NGEN 7 is designed for high-performance and adventure riding. Looking ahead, Motul plans to expand the range with NGEN Hybrid, a dedicated solution for hybrid passenger cars.
Additionally, Motul has partnered with Kawasaki to introduce the ‘Kawasaki Premium Oil by Motul’, featuring advanced ester technology and up to 50% regenerated base oils, further promoting sustainable engine protection.
The Motul NGEN 7 is now available at authorised Motul dealers, with the NGEN 5 set to launch by the end of April 2025.
