Maxol unveils Agri-Max Plus grease range with sustainable packaging

Maxol Lubricants, a division of The Maxol Group, has unveiled its latest innovation, the Maxol Agri-Max Plus Grease range. This new line of greases is specifically designed to meet the evolving needs of the agricultural, organic farming, marine, and forestry sectors. The launch also features a packaging refresh, incorporating more sustainable materials to align with Maxol’s commitment to reducing its environmental footprint.

The Maxol Agri-Max Plus Grease range includes advanced products tailored for diverse applications, such as plain bearings, wire ropes, chains, rails, and geared machinery. These greases are formulated to perform efficiently even in challenging environments where temperatures are not excessively high.

Among the key products in this range are:

– Maxol Agri-Max-Plus Calcium Grease: Developed for the agricultural sector, this grease offers superior water resistance and serves as an excellent alternative to traditional lithium-based greases. It ensures optimal performance across various agricultural applications, providing farmers with a reliable lubrication solution.

– Maxol Agri-Max-Plus EFS Grease: This NSF Food Grade H1 registered grease is fully certified to Swedish Standard SS 155470 for ecological safety. It is biodegradable and food-safe, making it ideal for both the food processing and agricultural industries where environmental impact and food safety are critical concerns.

As part of its sustainability efforts, Maxol has updated the packaging for its products, now using between 30% to 50% recycled plastic. This initiative reflects the company’s broader commitment to environmental stewardship and innovation.

Owen O’Neill, general manager at Maxol Lubricants, commented, “Our new packaging is not just a reflection of our commitment to sustainability but also a testament to our drive to innovate – from the inside out. While our products and packaging are evolving, we remain steadfast in our brand promise: ‘oil made easy.’ Customers can continue to trust the quality of our lubricants, now in packaging that aligns with both their values and ours.”

Maxol Lubricants has been a trusted name in agricultural oils in Ireland for more than 40 years, serving over 1,500 customers globally. The company remains dedicated to providing high-quality products tailored to the unique demands of farm machinery and other specialised equipment.
