Master Fluid Solutions opens new distribution centre in Toledo

Master Fluid Solutions has officially opened a new warehouse and distribution centre in Toledo, Ohio, U.S.A. This facility marks a significant milestone in the company’s multi-year investment plan to enhance its North American operations, reduce supply chain risks, and support regional economic growth.

David Barned, senior vice president and general manager – North America, emphasised the strategic importance of the new facility: “The new distribution centre is the latest step in our multi-year investment plan to support our growing North American business and improve overall customer experience. Once the new facility opens, it will play a vital role in Master Fluid Solutions’ larger efforts to maximise efficiency, improve customer service, and critically prevent future supply chain disruption.”

The Toledo distribution centre is designed to handle the majority of outgoing domestic shipments, significantly reducing the risk of supply chain interruptions. The facility boasts the capacity to store up to four weeks of products, mitigating potential shipping delays caused by material shortages. Additionally, with seven shipping docks, the warehouse expands the company’s capabilities, enhancing efficiency and leveraging previous investments in packaging automation and production equipment.

Master Fluid Solutions, known for its environmentally sound and durable cutting and grinding fluids, parts cleaners, and corrosion control fluids, continues to innovate and support the metalworking community. The company’s TRIM®, WEDOLiT™, and Master STAGES™ brands are complemented by its XYBEX® fluid management systems, which aim to lower customers’ total operational costs.
