Marco Maccio is new global health & safety manager at Infineum

Infineum International Limited, a world-class petroleum additives enterprise with global headquarters in Milton Hill, UK, announced the appointment of Marco Maccio as its new corporate head of internal audit and global HSSE manager with immediate effect.

The move is the latest in a series of recent executive appointments to Infineum’s Corporate Leadership Team (CLT), including the appointment of Trevor Russell as chief executive officer in July.

In this role, Maccio will be accountable for all aspects of health, safety, environmental and security performance. This includes ensuring all employees and third-parties working across the organisation’s global operations have access to the best safety equipment and training. He will also lead Infineum’s commitment to Responsible Care®, a global initiative dedicated to advancing the safe and secure management of chemical products and processes.

Previously a manufacturing manager at Infineum, Maccio succeeds Rob Holton, who retires from the business after nine years in the role.

“Infineum is committed to a safe working environment where ‘Nobody Gets Hurt’. As the company’s geographical operations expand, including the recent opening of our first wholly owned manufacturing base in China, this commitment is more important than ever,” said Russell.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Rob Holton for his years of service to Infineum and to wish him well in retirement. Moving forward, Marco is excellently placed to build upon Rob’s great work, delivering continuous improvement in all aspects of Infineum’s HSSE.”
