Russia’s Lukoil starts selling lubricants on U.S.-based e-commerce platform Amazon

Lukoil Lubricants, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Russian oil company Lukoil, has begun selling motor oils via the U.S.-based e-commerce platform Amazon, the company said.

Lukoil’s GENESIS and LUXE engine oils are available to European buyers on the online retailer’s website.

“Lukoil has become the first Russian lubricants manufacturer to start sales on Amazon, one of the world’s largest online marketplaces,” the company said.

Lukoil said it plans to expand its product range and start online sales via Amazon in all regions where it operates soon.

The company has already launched its own e-commerce stores in Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey and China, as well as on the Chinese website Alibaba.com.

Lukoil produces lubricants at nine plants in Russia and abroad and exports lubricants to more than 100 countries.
