Lukoil completes ISO/TS 16949:2009 certification process

PJSC Lukoil’s lubricants blending plants in Vienna, Austria, Perm and Volgograd in Russia, have successfully completed the certification process for ISO/TS 16949:2009.

ISO/TS 16949:2009, in conjunction with ISO 9001:2008, defines the quality management system requirements for the design and development, production and, when relevant, installation and service of automotive-related products.

Lukoil, Russia’s largest privately owned company, said it is the only lubricant blender in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) that has received ISO/TS 16949:2009 certification.

“The fact that Lukoil operates more than one plant guarantees continuous supplies and is seen by car manufacturers as an important advantage,” the company said in a statement.
