LIQUI MOLY expands leadership team amid global growth

German lubricant manufacturer LIQUI MOLY has announced a strategic expansion of its leadership team as the company continues its international growth trajectory. Starting from September, Export Director Salvatore Coniglio will join the duo of Managing Directors Günter Hiermaier and Dr. Uli Weller. This move aims to bolster the company’s ability to tackle future challenges with a more comprehensive and strategic approach.

Coniglio, who has been with LIQUI MOLY for nearly 23 years and is already managing director of five of the company’s foreign subsidiaries, will continue his role as export director. His appointment underscores LIQUI MOLY’s commitment to strengthening its international presence and customer focus. The company operates in around 150 countries, and Coniglio’s experience and extensive network are expected to further accelerate LIQUI MOLY’s growth.

Hiermaier expressed his excitement about the expansion, highlighting that the company is on track to reach its strategic goal of EUR1 billion (USD1.11 billion) in sales ahead of schedule. He emphasised that the broader management team will enable faster and more efficient decision-making, further positioning LIQUI MOLY for sustainable growth.

Additionally, LIQUI MOLY has appointed Wengert as an authorised signatory, enhancing the company’s capabilities in the German-speaking markets. Wengert’s new role is seen as a vital step toward fostering stronger relationships with customers and partners in Germany and Austria.
