Xinjiang International acquires two oil firms
China’s Xinjiang International Industry Co. Ltd. has acquired Changsheng Oil and Xingfang Oil in June for a total of about 27.8 million yuan (US$4.28 million). The acquisitions would raise the company’s annual sales of gasoline and diesel fuel by 120,000 tons and its annual sales revenue by 100 million yuan (US$15.4 million). Xinjiang’s principal business is in coking and real estate in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. (June 9, 2011)
