Wissol appointed exclusive importer of Total lubricants

Wissol Petroleum Georgia, headquartered in Tbilisi, Georgia, has been appointed the exclusive importer of lubricants for French oil and gas company Total in the Georgian market, according to Soso Pkhakadze, chairman of the supervisory board of Wissol. The size of the lubricant market in Georgia is estimated at 1,000 tons per month by the Georgian Union of Producers, Importers and Consumers of Oil Products.  Pkhakadze said that Wissol is also in talks with Total regarding the supply of aviation fuel. We hope to sign the relevant contract,” he said. The company also imports petroleum products from Italy, Romania and Azerbaijan. The Wissol network includes 75 fuel stations. (October 8, 2010)
