Vung Ang Oil to operate largest petroleum depot in north Vietnam

Vung Ang Oil and Petrol Joint Stock Co. is speeding up construction work to start the operation the Vung Ang petroleum depot, the biggest of its kind in northern central Vietnam by 2010, said General Director Dinh Hong Long. The facility, which is under construction in the central province of Ha Tinh, will have a storage capacity of 110,000 cubic meters when fully operational, the Vietnam News Agency said, citing Long. In the first phase, the depot will be capable of storing 60,000 cubic meters of petroleum products to supply northern central Vietnam and Laos. (December 23, 2009)
