Vietnam to mandate use of biofuel by 2013

Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade has drafted a document that calls for all vehicles in the country to use biofuel with 5% ethanol. “Green fuel” will be used in Hanoi, HCM City, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Can Tho, Quang Ngai and Ba Ria – Vung Tau by 2013. The document also requires companies involved in fuel production to produce and supply biofuel. (October 7, 2011)
