Vietnam petrol traders raise petroleum prices
The Vietnamese Ministries of Finance and Industry and Trade have allowed petroleum traders to raise the domestic retail price of gasoline and diesel fuel by 1,000 dong (US$0.06) per liter, kerosene by 850 dong(US$0.05) per liter and fuel oil by 300 dong(US$0.02) per kilogram, effective August 30, the government of Vietnam said on its website. The price increases are in line with the 2.3% to 4.3% increase in global petroleum prices over the last 20 days. The ministries said that prior to the price hikes, the traders were losing 1,190 dong (US$0.07) per liter on gasoline, 1,993 dong (US$0.11) per liter on diesel fuel, 694 dong (US$0.04) per liter on kerosene and 681 dong(US$0.04) per kg on mazut.
