Vietnam cancels business licenses of two companies selling substandard gasoline
Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee withdrew business licenses given to Trung Huy Company and Filling Station No.7 for selling substandard gasoline. The two companies were also fined a total of VND60 million (US$2,887.39). The committee had also requested the Industry and Trade Department not to issue licenses to the two companies before January 31, 2013. HCM City has revoked the business licenses of nine other enterprises and filling stations since January 2012 because they were selling sub-standard gasoline. (February 1, 2012)
