U.K. lubricants firm Exol plans growth with US$3 million expansion
Wednesbury-based Exol Lubricants is investing more than US$3 million in redeveloping its head office and manufacturing site as it looks towards expansion.
The firm, which employs 60 people, said the move cemented its position as a leading employer in the area.
The redevelopment of the 120,000 sq. ft. site will create a more efficient, economical, and environmentally friendly manufacturing facility.
Work will start in July 2013 and it is expected to take six months to complete.
When completed, Exol will be recruiting more staff and increasing the number of visitors it brings to the area, as it plans to demonstrate its new facility to its expanding customer base.
The company, which is the U.K.’s largest independent lubricants manufacturer, supplies lubricants and associated products for car, commercial vehicle, agricultural, rail and industrial applications.
Steve Dunn, Exol Lubricants sales director, said, “Exol has been a permanent fixture in the Wednesbury area for 30 years and we are delighted to be expanding our business here. “
