Toyota to launch new Prius plug-in hybrid

Toyota will launch a new version of the Prius in 2014, in a plug-in version, that drivers can recharge using their own ordinary household electrical supply, according to the Nikkei business daily.  Reportedly, the new Prius models will be the same price as current models and they will come with new high performance lithium ion batteries which will allow drivers to travel 60km per liter of gasoline.
