Total to open 20 oil change centers in Oman

Total and Towell Auto Centre have plans to open 20 PIT Stop oil change centers, a quick oil change facility, in Oman within the next two years. This is part of Total Marketing Middle East’s efforts to strengthen their presence in the retail lubricants market. The company, along with Towell Auto Centre, has opened its first PIT Stop oil change center in Oman a couple of weeks ago at Ghubra. “This initiative is another step to offer customized solutions to all non-franchised service providers thereby providing innovative solutions to the changing needs of the customers,” said Philippe Cabus, managing director, Total Marketing Middle East. Total Quartz Pit stop concept, a name synonymous with quick and effective service, includes an oil change along with certain free checks carried out in a professional set up and manned by trained and skilled people. “Pit stop is a new concept launched in 2012 and within a short span we have opened more than 20 locations across GCC mainly in UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman,” said Cabus. Towell Auto Centre has been a very strong partner of Total and over the last decade played an instrumental role in Total lubricants’ growth in the country. “The relationship cascades to all business segments and together we have taken strong initiatives to make Total one of the leading lubricant brands in Oman, he added.
