TNK-BP acquires Ukrainian retail network Vik Oil
Anglo-Russian oil venture TNK-BP said it had completed a deal to acquire 100% interest in Ukraine’s Vik Oil retail network for nearly US$313 million. Vik Oil owns 118 gasoline stations, and eight oil products storage facilities, among other assets, in Ukraine. “The acquisition of the Vik Oil group is a landmark event for our company, and the deal is in line with our expansion strategy in Ukraine,” TNK-BP Executive Director German Khan said.
