Thai Airways to launch biofuel flights

In line with the Thai government’s plans to use alternative energy in the country to curb greenhouse emissions, Thai Airways International announced that it would launch commercial flights using biofuel beginning December 2011. The airline would be the first to use bio jet fuel in Southeast Asia. (December 10, 2011)
