Tanzania’s first lube plant to open soon

Construction of Tanzania’s first lubricant plant has entered the final stages, and once it is fully operational it will become the second factory in Tanzania’s largest Special Economic Zone (SEZ). A gas plant recently began operations at the Kamal Industrial Estate, which is located at Bagamoyo, some 40 kilometers from Dar es Salaam, the largest city in Tanzania. The industrial estate owned by the Kamal Group is also the first privately owned special economic zone in Tanzania, which has the potential to create 25,000 jobs and is currently undergoing various infrastructure developments which will accommodate other industries in various sectors.
