Synergetics to focus on waste, bioenergy management projects
U.S. firm Synergetics, Inc., formerly Fresh Traffic Group, Inc. said on February 8, that its core activity will be the development of waste and bioenergy management solutions.
President and Chief Executive Michael Wiechnik said the initial projects would involve the design, production, distribution and support of community-scale biodiesel refineries, with the company expecting to start operations in Russia, China and Europe. An expansion in North America is envisioned at a later stage.
The company’s proprietary bioenergy production system technology can process carbonaceous waste; household or industrial waste including rubber products, plastics and plastic materials; and coal and oil sludge, Wiechnik said. He added that the solution can also help clean water, including wastewater contaminated by crude oil and petroleum products, while simultaneously producing synthetic fuels.
Synergetics will also deal in infrastructure development for renewable energy projects, according to the announcement. (February 11, 2013)
