Suzuki to assemble new eco-car in Thailand

Suzuki Motors Thailand has set a goal of selling 10,000 units this year in Thailand’s highly competitive small-car segment. In March, the company will begin assembling its eco-car at its plant in Rayong. Initial output will be 10,000 this year, reaching 100,000 units in 2016. Suzuki has not yet named its new eco-car, but Suzuki Motors Thailand’s Assistant General Manager Vallop Treererkngarm, said that the new eco-car will have a brand new design. (January 12, 2012)
