Suzuki launches own engine oil

Suzuki Malaysia Automobile Sdn Bhd (SMA) has launched Suzuki genuine engine oil for the marque’s cars sold in Malaysia. Malaysia is the first market in the world to have engineered an engine oil under Suzuki’s own brand, senior SMA executives said. The engine oil, the executives said, was endorsed by Suzuki and supported by Petronas Dagangan Bhd and Petronas Lubricants International Sdn Bhd. Suzuki genuine oil comes in two four-liter versions: a fully synthetic API SM and a semi-synthetic API SM sold at RM138 (US$42.96) and RM82 (US$25.53) respectively. (April 2, 2010)
