Sukimi plans to expand its business operations

Chief Executive Muhazli Muhammad of Malaysian lube oil producer Sukimi Lube Sdn Bhd revealed that the company has plans to expand operations overseas by exporting its products to Vietnam, Laos and Indonesia. Mahazli said that besides business operations in the east coast, central and northern region, the company which is a wholly-owned Bumiputera company supplies products to the Royal Malaysian Police, Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Fire and Rescue Department and the Royal Malaysian Navy. In order to venture into the international market, he disclosed that they will first concentrate on several ASEAN countries and hoped that  sales this year would reach 12 million ringgit (US$3.85 million ) as demand has exceeded three million liters of lubricants. The company sells 33 types of products in the market including gear oil, transmission oil, brake and clutch fluid, coolant, hydraulic fluid and grease. (August 30, 2010)
