Sukimi lube expects 63 pct increase in sales
Bumiputera lubricant oil producer Sukimi Lube (M) Sdn Bhd expects its sales to increase 63% to five million liters worth 18 million ringgit (US$5.04 million) this year. Last year, the company sold three million liters of lubricant oil, said its Operations and Marketing head Ahmad Shah Rizal Ibrahim after Sukimi Group president Datuk Seri Ahmad Sukimi Ibrahim flagged off a car convoy to the Kelantan Motorshow here today. Shah Rizal said the company had obtained supply contracts from several state and federal government agencies in Kelantan and hundreds of workshops nationwide. “Sukimi now controls the east coast states and several in the northern peninsula,” he said. He said Sukimi’s lubricant oil was well received by everyone including the private and public sectors because its quality was on par with those produced by world renowned names. (July 15, 2009)
