Subsidized fuel consumption to be limited

Indonesia’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has fixed the subsidized fuel consumption quota for 2011 at 36.77 kiloliters, slightly up from 36.5 million kiloliters this year. Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Darwin Zahedy Saleh promised to prioritize limiting consumption to prevent subsidized fuel mis-distribution. Darwin explained that a slight increase in the subsidized fuel quota next year showed the government’s strong determination to limit the possibility of subsidized fuel mis-distribution.
