Stuart proposes Australian fuel storage facility

Stuart Petroleum Ltd. has filed an application with the Development Assessment Commission (DAC) of the Australian government for a fuel storage and distribution facility at Port Bonython on the Eyre Peninsula in Southern Australia. The facility will be capable of importing, storing and distributing more than 500 million liters of diesel fuel per year for the needs of diesel consumers in the north, mid north and west of South Australia. Construction is slated to start 15 months after Stuart gets the DAC’s approval by the end of 2009, with expansion to be carried out sometime in the future. (May 26, 2009)
