Start-up delayed at Taiwan CPC’s 80,000 b/d secondary unit in Talin

Taiwan’s CPC Corporation is postponing the start-up of its new 80,000 bpd secondary unit at the company’s Talin plant. According to industry sources, the new gasoline-making unit, which was scheduled to start in July, will not yet begin operations due to technical issues. Once the secondary unit is in operation, the company expects to ship more cleaner diesel fuel. (November 2, 2012)
