Sri Lanka to launch used oil recycling program

Sri Lanka’s Minister of Petroleum Resources Susil Premajayantha says the country will implement a program to recycle petroleum waste. The aim of the program is to minimize environmental pollution and adulteration of petroleum products. Accordingly, the Petroleum Corporation will control the sale of furnace oil, which is used to adulterate petroleum products. (January 2, 2011)
